By downloading, installing, or using TripTab ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

TripTab is a free mobile application designed to help users track travel expenses and settle payments among travel companions. The App provides:

- Expense splitting among companions
- Settlement calculation and suggestions
- PDF export functionality
- Visual analytics and reports
User Responsibilities
When using TripTab, you agree to:
- Use the App only for its intended purpose of expense tracking
- Ensure the accuracy of expense data you enter
- Not use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App
- Not use the App to store sensitive personal information beyond expense data
- Maintain the security of your device
Data Accuracy
TripTab performs calculations based on the data you provide. We are not responsible for:
- Errors in expense amounts or calculations due to incorrect input
- Disputes between users regarding expense splitting
- Financial decisions made based on App data
- Currency conversion accuracy (not a feature of the App)
Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:
- Copy or distribute the App
- Modify or create derivative works
- Use our trademarks without permission
- Remove any proprietary notices from the App
Disclaimer of Warranties
TripTab is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of calculations
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Compatibility with all devices
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of data or expenses
- Financial losses from calculation errors
- Disputes between travel companions
- Device damage or malfunction
- Any damages arising from the use or inability to use the App
Data and Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle data. Key points:
- All data is stored locally on your device
- No data is transmitted to our servers
- You are responsible for backing up your data
- Uninstalling the App will delete all stored data
Free Service
TripTab is currently provided free of charge. We reserve the right to:
- Introduce premium features in the future
- Modify or discontinue features
- Change pricing for premium features
Core functionality will remain free. Any changes to pricing will be communicated in advance.
Modifications to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
We encourage you to review these Terms periodically for any updates.
Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may terminate or suspend access to the App at our discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
