All data you enter in TripTab is stored locally on your device using SQLite:

TripTab does not collect, transmit, or store:

  • Any data on external servers

No Third-Party Services

TripTab does not integrate with:

  • Analytics services (no Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, etc.)
  • Advertising networks
  • Social media platforms
  • Third-party SDKs that collect user data
  • Crash reporting services that transmit data

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in a SQLite database on your device's local storage. The security of this data relies on your device's built-in security features (device encryption, lock screen, etc.).

We recommend keeping your device secure with a strong passcode or biometric authentication to protect your expense data.

Your Control Over Data

You have complete control over your data:

  • Access: All your data is visible within the app
  • Export: You can export trip reports as PDF documents
  • Deletion: Delete individual trips, expenses, or all data by uninstalling the app
  • Portability: Your data is stored locally and belongs to you

Future Cloud Sync (Premium Feature)

We may introduce an optional cloud sync feature in the future for premium users. If implemented:

  • Cloud sync will be entirely optional
  • You will have explicit control over what data is synced
  • This Privacy Policy will be updated before any such feature is released
  • Core offline functionality will remain available without cloud features

No Account Required

TripTab works without any user account or registration. You can use all features immediately after installation without providing any personal information.

Children's Privacy

TripTab does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children. Since no data is transmitted from the app, there are no special concerns regarding children's privacy.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
